ATOD: Memories from an Auslan Interpreter

$45.00 incl. GST

Pam Spicer worked as a freelance Sign Language Interpreter for Theatre of the Deaf in Sydney in the 1980’s and early 90’s then became full time Admin Assistant/Auslan Interpreter from 1993 till 2000.

In 1995, the company changed it’s name to Australian Theatre of the Deaf (ATOD) the only professional Deaf theatre company in Australia.

In 2020, Pam realised that it has been 20 years since she left ATOD. She now lives in Queensland on the Sunshine Coast. There is a global crisis Covid-19, the Corona Virus (staying home is encouraged). This has allowed her time to sort through the memories and papers of ATOD. Then .. So Pam has compiled them into this booklet for herself and and ATOD friends and actors.
